When to put a deal in this stage:
- When you have reached the lead and spoken with them, but they need to provide additional information before you can continue their setup (Example: I don't have my insurance card on me at the moment)
When NOT to put a deal in this stage:
- When your call has technically been answered, but not by the person you were trying to reach, or you reached the lead, but they were unable to talk.
NOTE: This stage does not send automated emails or texts to the customer! A deal left in this stage without any activity will have NO CONTACT from you. This is why it's important to follow up on these or move them to another stage as soon as possible.
